November 2023: I am very excited and honored! At our annual Clinical Psychology Fall Social, the Faculty and Student Organization of UT Southwestern (FOCUS) presented me with an Outstanding Teaching Award, which is very exciting. I am grateful to all the students, faculty, and staff in the program that make this job a great one!

October 2023: Attending the Annual Conference on Teaching for the second time, in Portland, was a great experience! We (the Early Career Psychology Committee) had a great turnout at our  workshop, "Rethinking Course Syllabi & Assignments: How to Generate Engaging, Equitable, and Transparent Student Materials," and really enjoyed meeting new people!

October 2022: New publication, The Effect of Non-Invasive Vagus Nerve Stimulation on Memory Recall in Reading: A Pilot Study accepted at Behavioural Brain Research! Check out the full text here. 

October 2022: Attended the Society for the Teaching of Psychology's Annual Conference on Teaching in Pittsburgh, for the first time! A link to the poster presented is forthcoming.

September 2022: Began as an Instructor (non-tenure, research track faculty member) in the Department of Psychiatry at UT Southwestern Medical Center!
